These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AIRGAP ("AIRGAP", "we", "us"), an onchain intelligence platform funded by a shared pre-paid credit balance. By connecting a wallet to AIRGAP and using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What AIRGAP is
AIRGAP is a software platform that runs configurable intelligence agents on your behalf. Each agent watches a data source you select (an X account, a Farcaster feed, a token contract, a wallet, a custom workflow), applies AI inference, and emits signals to delivery channels you connect (in-app feed, Telegram, public REST API).
AIRGAP runs the compute, the LLM inference, and the onchain settlement. Usage is billed as a per-poll fee debited from your credit balance, with the rate discounted if you hold $AIRGAP. There is no monthly subscription. There is no fiat payment rail. There is no KYC.
Eligibility
You may use AIRGAP only if all of the following are true:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
- You are legally permitted to hold, transfer, and spend USDC and ETH on a public blockchain in your jurisdiction.
- Your use of AIRGAP does not violate any law, regulation, or sanctions program applicable to you.
- You are not a resident, citizen, or located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), including but not limited to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
If you use AIRGAP on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" includes both you and the entity.
Accounts and wallets
AIRGAP uses Sign-In With Ethereum (SIWE) for authentication. Your account is your wallet. There is no separate username, no email, no password.
You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, your seed phrase, and any hardware wallet device. We cannot recover your account if you lose access to your wallet.
You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Deletion is permanent. Agent configurations, signal history, alert connections, and API tokens are removed. Any unspent credit balance is forfeited on deletion (see "Refunds and forfeiture" below).
How AIRGAP is funded: pre-paid credits
You buy AIRGAP service credits with USDC on Base mainnet via the in-app top-up flow. The flow uses the x402 protocol's ExactEvmScheme:
- You pick a top-up amount and sign one x402 payment payload in your wallet.
- Our facilitator settles that payload on-chain in the same request: USDC moves from your wallet to AIRGAP's treasury immediately.
- Once the on-chain settlement confirms, we credit your account with the equivalent USDC-denominated balance (1 USDC = 1 credit).
A top-up is a purchase of service credits, not a deposit, not custody, and not a loan to AIRGAP. The USDC belongs to AIRGAP from the moment the on-chain transfer confirms. You receive the right to draw equivalent value of AIRGAP service against the credit balance.
The credit balance is shared across every agent on your account. There is no per-agent escrow. You may optionally set a soft per-agent spend cap inside the app; the cap is a server-side ceiling on that agent's draws from the shared balance, not a separate escrowed pot.
Billing is a per-poll fee. Each poll's cost is debited atomically from your credit balance the moment the poll runs, at the rate published in our docs (with the $AIRGAP holder discount applied at the tier you qualify for). When the balance reaches zero (or an agent hits its per-agent cap), the affected agent pauses until you top up again (or raise the cap).
Refunds and forfeiture
Credit top-ups are non-refundable. By signing the top-up payload you irrevocably authorize the on-chain transfer of USDC to AIRGAP, and you accept that the credits issued in exchange are a non-cashable right to AIRGAP service.
If you delete your account, suspend agent use, or the service becomes unavailable for any reason, any unspent credit balance is forfeited. We are not obligated to convert credit back into USDC.
We may, at our sole discretion and in limited circumstances (such as a server-side billing error in your disfavor), grant a partial refund or credit adjustment. Such grants are exceptional and do not establish any obligation to grant similar relief in the future.
Acceptable use
You will not use AIRGAP to:
- Conduct any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction, the United States, or the jurisdiction governing these Terms.
- Harass, stalk, dox, threaten, or impersonate any person, including via signals routed through delivery channels.
- Send spam to Telegram chats or API consumers.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the platform to extract data we have not exposed via the documented API.
- Run agents that scrape or interact with third-party platforms (X, Farcaster, Telegram, Discord, etc.) in ways that violate those platforms' terms of service.
- Add the AIRGAP Discord or Telegram bot to any server or group without the explicit permission of that community's owner or administrators. Monitor only communities you own or are authorized to monitor.
- Attempt to bypass the per-agent spend caps, the balance debit gate, the per-poll metering, or any rate limit enforced by the API.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any agent or account at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you are violating these Terms or operating an agent that poses a risk to other users or to the platform.
No warranty
AIRGAP is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate. We do not warrant the suitability, completeness, or timeliness of any signal emitted by any agent.
Signals emitted by AIRGAP agents are NOT financial advice, NOT investment recommendations, and NOT trading instructions. They are the output of probabilistic AI inference over third-party data. Cryptocurrency and digital asset trading carries substantial risk of loss. Do not trade based on a signal you do not independently understand. Do not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AIRGAP, its operators, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:
- Trading losses, missed gains, or opportunity costs of any kind arising from action or inaction taken on an AIRGAP signal.
- Inaccurate, delayed, missed, or duplicated signals.
- Service downtime, including downtime caused by upstream LLM providers, RPC outages, third-party API rate limits, or Base mainnet congestion.
- Loss of access to your wallet, your seed phrase, or your hardware wallet device.
- On-chain transaction failures, reverts, gas-price spikes, or front-running.
- Acts of God, war, sanctions, or any cause outside our reasonable control.
Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to AIRGAP is limited to the lesser of (a) the total USDC value of credits you have purchased in the ninety (90) days preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of AIRGAP after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a revision, your remedy is to stop using the service.
